A warm welcome awaits at The Fleece Inn, Bishop Wilton. The Fleece has a wealth of atmosphere with open fires and accommodation in a quaint village in the Yorkshire Wolds. We offer cask ales, including Black Sheep, Wold Top Bitter and Theakston’s and a forever changing locally brewed guest ale, a home made menu (using the freshest local produce) and ensuite accommodation.We are open for food Wed – Sat lunchtimes (12 – 2.30pm) and evenings (5 – 9pm) We offer a traditional Sunday Roast 12 – 4pm. We do not serve food Sunday evening, Mondays or Tuesdays, however we are open for drinks and accommodation when not serving food.
The unspoilt village of Bishop Wilton nestles at the foot of Garrowby Hill on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. Bishop Wilton offers an excellent base for walking, cycling and riding within beautiful surroundings. Bishop Wilton is within easy reach of the City of York and a wealth of places to visit are close by including Sledmere House, Kirkham Priory, Burnby Hall & Gardens, Dalby Forest and Castle Howard but to name a few.
